Optical laboratory needed for filter and testing for optical light transmission density. Company has cracked 16Ømm x 1mm thick filter that is part of camera system in a tool pre-setter. The pre-setter uses a camera and a light source to measure what appears as a shadow on a monitor. The filter seems to reduce the intensity of the light reaching the camera. We do not have any specifications for the filter. The OEM says the camera and filter is obsolete and not available. We believe the filter is a neutral density filter. We used a variable neutral density 52Ø mm filter to verify that the camera was functional. It seems to need a very specific density setting. We would eventually like to get a matching replacement 16Ømm filter.
