URGENT: Due to recent emergency storm conditions, company is seeking Laboratory immediately for investigational study of the quality of several metals used in steel towers including several ASTM chemical, mechanical and metallurgical tests including: Chemical composition analysis; Mechanical (tension testing); and Bending (shear strength and elasticity).
The test should be based on the following ASTMs:
a. ANSI/ASTM A 572 - 79 (Grade 50): Standard Specification for High-Strength Low-Alloy Columbium-Vanadium Steels of Structural Quality; and b. ANSI/ASTM A 36/A 36 M-01: Standard Specification for Carbon Structural Steel.
