LONG-TERM TESTING Metals Laboratory needed to perform chemical composition, mechanical properties, and mechanical behavior tests on a variety of metal alloys. These tests may include equipment such as Instron tensile testers, an SEM, optical microscopes, grinding/polishing units, etchants and other metallographic testing equipment. These tests would be completed on an as needed basis
Electrical Laboratory needed for SAE Certification testing to certify telematics products to SAE J1113 Electromagnetic Compatibility Measurement Procedures and Limits for Components of Vehicles, Boats (up to 15 m), and Machines and SAE J1455 Environmental Practices for Electronic Equipment Design in Heavy-Duty Vehicle Applications and . It is a telematics device with a mining application project pending.
LONG-TERM TESTING Industrial Laboratory needed for thermal conductivity testing by laser flash method for metals as per standard ASTM: E1461-13. Thermal conductivity and thermal diffusivity are the most important thermophysical material parameters for characterizing the thermal transport properties of a material or component. The Laser Flash technique is currently the most widely accepted method for precise measurement of the thermal diffusivity
Metallurgical Laboratory needed for characterization of alloys of FeSiBa and FeSiCeLa for REACH purpose including the following analyses
Ce:-Qualitative Analysis X-Ray diffraction analysis (XRD) can be used to confirm the identity of the substance Quantitative Analysis: X-ray fluorescence analysis (XRF) inductively coupled plasma (ICP) techniques can be used for elemental analysis a:-XRF and XRDBa:-XRD and XRFF Si: -ISO 5445 ?Methods: 4139 and 4158-The Si is precipitated like Potassium Hexafluorsilicate and analyzed by titrimetric method with sodium hydroxide.
Others metallic impurities are analyzed by ICP - Inductively coupled plasma -Carbon and sulphur analyzed by infra-red (JIS G 1312)-Acid digestion ICP-XRF calibrated to international standards

Geology Laboratory needed for determining of mercury (cinnabar) is present in micro-crystalline quartz specimen. The hardness of specimen on Mohs scale in tenths between 6.9 and 7.5. This testing is being done to determine if future grinding would be hazardous to humans.
LONG-TERM TESTING Metallurgical Laboratory needed to heat treat spooled silver-plated copper wire on nickel-plated copper-clad steel spools (3.5 in diameter, 4.5 in height) under Nitrogen atmosphere, maximum temperature 370 C for 4 hr with time to cool to room temperature.
PhD student needs geology laboratory for various volcanic rock analyses including chemical, SEM and isotopes analysis. The following specific tests are needed:
Volcanic rocks (age) K - Ar, 3 - 5 samples ( silicate analyses, macro/micro elements, REE ) - Ore mineralogy ( polish section, SEM, EM) - Isotopes for: ( 5 samples for each elements)Sulfur, Sphalerite, Galena, Pyrite,SideriteOxygenCarbonCalcite mono-mineral analysis.
Geology laboratory needed for elemental and heavy metals analysis of two ores from a new source including iron ore to >10 ppm, with % or ppm concentrations within 10% or so. I suggest XRF, ICP or a combination. In addition, from another source I have some heavy minerals concentrate and need to know all significant minerals present and their concentrations, including ppm of gold, if any.
Metals laboratory needed for destructive testing of stainless steel tie down fixture, two component estimated break of the weakest link 30,000 Lbs. of pull. Multiple testing angles (adjustable base must be designed to support the test). Test device at vertical, 70 degrees from level, and 35 degrees from level.
Metallurgical laboratory needed for ASTM testing of copper clad steel wire to two ASTM Standards including:
ASTM B227, Standard Specification for Hard-Drawn Copper-Clad Steel Wire
ASTM 228, Standard Specification for Steel Wire, Music Spring Quality which includes tension, torsion and wrap
ISO 17025 metallurgical laboratory needed for ASTM testing of copper tubes (diameter 8mm) to ASTM B577: 2016 - Standard Test Methods for Detection of Cuprous Oxide (Hydrogen Embrittlement Susceptibility) in Copper - Method A (or in according to standard ISO 2626: 1973 - Copper - Hydrogen embrittlement test) on some samples of copper tubes (diameter 8 mm).
Geotechnical laboratory needed for cold compression strength CCS analysis of iron ore lumps. Each sample will be provided individually and must be analyzed separately to avoid mixing or contamination. After analysis carried out, each sample must be preserved separately.
URGENT TESTING Laboratory needed for corrosion testing of metals to ISO 6509 on faucet shanks. ISO 6509-2:2017 specifies assessment criteria and provides guidance related to the corrosion type dezincification for the selection of copper alloys with a mass fraction of zinc >15 %, exposed to fresh, saline, or drinking water. The assessment criteria are based on the exposure tests detailed in ISO 6509
