The product is a reaction between an a base solution (Citric acid) and an activator (Sodium chlorite) to give a foam solution containing chlorine dioxide when dispensed from the foam pump.
It is normally analyzed by chlorine dioxide by UV spectrophotometry but only by taking the liquid from the two chambers and reacting them, we cannot use the foam as it will not give an accurate reading on the UV. However due to new regulations we must analyse the actual foam for chlorine dioxide and prove that the Chlorine dioxide dose is consistent from the actual foam pump. I know this is a tricky sample matrix to analyse but would you have any analytical methods available to analyse this please.
