Biologics company needs Bioanalytical Laboratory for Peptide Aliquot Quality Assurance Testing. In each 5mg peptide vial, in addition to the peptide there is acetate (counterion), mannitol, trace amounts of water, amino acids, and TFA.
For each 5mg peptide aliquot, the weight refers to the total weight, not the peptide weight. The actual peptide net weight will be <4.5722mg and the acetate counterion weight will be ~0.4278mg.
So we expect each vial to contain: Peptide - ?4.5722mg (peptide net weight) Acetate - 0.4278mg (this is the counterion which forms the stable peptide salt) Mannitol - 30mg (caking excipient) Water, TFA, Residual Aminos - trace amounts Atmosphere - Nitrogen

Analytical Chemistry Laboratory needed for quantitative analysis of samples of cold pressed grapefruit peel oil (GFP Oil) (think orange oil) for ppm amounts of thiabendazole (TBZ)? The oil needs to contain 68 ppm TBZ and it needs to be less than 15 ppm. Thus the range is TBZ is 5 to 100 ppm. We plan to vacuum distill the product to remove the excess TBZ in the distillation bottoms.
Ultimately, the only certified method needed is to confirm TBZ is less than 15 ppm in the final product. During the process development phase, we will need determinations of PPM of TBZ in distillation samples. Range is between 5 ppm and 100 ppm.
I have copies of published articles on analytical methods for TBZ in citrus oils.

Analytical Chemistry Laboratory needed to analyse the content of chlorine dioxide in chlorine dioxide solutions for disinfectant purposes.
The product is a reaction between an a base solution (Citric acid) and an activator (Sodium chlorite) to give a foam solution containing chlorine dioxide when dispensed from the foam pump.
It is normally analyzed by chlorine dioxide by UV spectrophotometry but only by taking the liquid from the two chambers and reacting them, we cannot use the foam as it will not give an accurate reading on the UV. However due to new regulations we must analyse the actual foam for chlorine dioxide and prove that the Chlorine dioxide dose is consistent from the actual foam pump. I know this is a tricky sample matrix to analyse but would you have any analytical methods available to analyse this please.
