Our standard analytical reports include not only the end results, but also supporting documents, such as the analytical method(s) used, calibration curves, actual chromatograms and relevant statistics.The FDA cGMP regulation of dietary supplements requires companies to prove hat the analytical methods they use are scientifically valid - our report satisfies this requirement. To ensure that our methods are "fit for purpose", GAAS Analytical regularly participates in the Dietary Supplement Laboratory Quality Assurance Program (DSQAP) exercises.
The founder and CEO of GAAS Analytical has substantial experience in this field; before founding GAAS Analytical she served as the director of the Analytical Core at an NIH funded Botanical Center (Arizona Center for Phytomedicine Research), and managed similar analytical laboratories of industry. Currently she is voting member of the AOAC Stakeholder Panel on Dietary Supplements (SPDS), member of the Expert Review Panel (ERP), Chair of the Turmeric Working Group, and member of several other Working Groups. She was selected in 2015 to serve a 5 year term as the member of the USP's Non-botanical Dietary Supplements Expert Committee. She is also serving on the Advisory Board of the NIST/NIH established Dietary Supplement Laboratory Quality Assurance Program (DSQAP).
